Inclusive education in Museums

Workshop on “Inclusive education in Museums” organized for professionals from museum and heritage sector to develop strategies and methods of working with community members with disabilities.

The workshop focused on the importance of museums and cultural organizations in general in developing inclusive educational programs/projects and skills how to implement those projects throughout the year or on permanent basis.

Polish expert Marek Yakubowski conducted the workshop in thematic and interactive ways followed by video and power point presentations. Participants distributed with examples of printing materials on how to work with museum visitors with different disability problems.

Prior the workshop MEC arranged an open discussion on “Inclusive Education in Museums” led by Marek Jakubowski in Komitas Museum-Institute with more than 30 attendees.
